Melissa Niemczyk completed a double Majors with Honours in History and International Development Studies at Trent University with the goal of becoming a lawyer. After her studies she began working with an insurance defence firm and learned that she really loved being a Law Clerk. 8 years passed and she made the switch to being a Plaintiff Law Clerk, working strictly on accident benefits claims. She joined McLeish Orlando on the first day of the COVID-19 lockdown in March 2020.
Melissa has a special passion for Accident Benefits as she finds great satisfaction from being able to work with clients on their recovery, as well as to ensure they are getting what they need from their own car insurer. She gets great fulfilment working closely with catastrophic clients and their rehab teams to better their overall quality of life as best as possible.
In her spare time Melissa is a mom, a writer, a musician, and an avid consumer of podcasts. She enjoys socializing with her friends and family and exploring the outdoors, particularly the bottoms of waterfalls. Her favourite waterfall is the great and mighty Niagara Falls, although she claims there are many more in Ontario worth seeing. Humour and encouragement are important to her and she is always looking for the silver lining in things.
