Our client moved with her parents from Bangladesh as a very young girl. In Canada she was progressing well in school, loved playing with her friends, riding her tricycle and going to the park.

Due to the circumstances of the collision she also suffered significant emotional trauma and emotional adjustment issues. It was anticipated that her needs would only increase with age, as expectations increased and more demands would be placed on her.
The insurance company disputed whether this young girl’s injuries reached the level of catastrophic impairment but on the eve of trial the lawyers at McLeish Orlando settled the file for over $2,568,000. This money will compensate her for the disadvantage she will face in future employment, and will pay for the care and assistance she will require for the rest of her life.
