About Jamie Davison
Jamie Davison began her career at McLeish Orlando as a summer student in 2022 where she was inspired by the firm’s dedication to both personalized client advocacy and preventive policy change. She returned for her articles in 2023, and was subsequently hired as an Associate in August 2024.
Jamie holds a dual Master’s Degree in Public Administration and Juris Doctor from Queen’s University. This unique educational background equips her with a comprehensive perspective on legal issues, blending responsive, client-focused advocacy with proactive policy insight.
Jamie has had the opportunity to argue for the rights of clients at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Justice, the Landlord Tenant Board, and the License Appeal Tribunal.
As a member of the McLeish Orlando team, Jamie is proud to contribute. She knows that success in law is achieved, not in isolation, but through collective effort and mutual support.
Jamie actively participates in community initiatives, including events supporting Brain Injury Associations across Ontario and blood donation drives with Canadian Blood Services.
Before venturing into law, Jamie was a competitive dancer and acrobat for 15 years, getting to perform across Ontario, and in New York City, Chicago, and Las Vegas. During her university years at Queen’s, Jamie excelled as an executive member and instructor for Canada’s largest student-run dance club.
Outside the office, Jamie is an avid gym-goer, enjoying high-intensity interval training and weightlifting. She also enjoys stand-up comedy shows and concerts, and most weekends can be found at Michael’s craft store, working on a new DIY project for her home.
