Elena is a Legal Assistant at McLeish Orlando. Elena completed her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminology at Ryerson University, and then went on to complete her Masters degree in Socio-Legal Studies at York University. She graduated from York University in 2016, and shortly after began working as a tort legal assistant at a boutique plaintiff personal injury firm in Toronto. Elena joined McLeish Orlando in January of 2019 as a legal assistant. She works together with Patrick and William to assist with the tort litigation process from start to finish. Her strong organizational skills, efficiency, and eye for detail, are essential when drafting legal documents and executing required tasks.
Elena is an empathetic person and has always loved helping others. This led her to choose a career in plaintiff personal injury law as this career provides an opportunity to help individuals going through a hard time in their lives by providing them with support and guidance. The most rewarding part of her job is helping clients obtain a successful outcome and seeing the joy and comfort this brings to them.
In her spare time, Elena enjoys spending time with her family, friends, boyfriend and dog. She loves to cook, travel and spend time outdoors in nature whenever possible. She is also very passionate about animals.
