About Aidan Vining
Aidan joined McLeish Orlando as a summer student in 2020 and returned to complete his articles with the firm in 2021 after earning his law degree from Western Law. Prior to law school, Aidan attended the University of Guelph where he received an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree with distinction, double majoring in Sociology and Criminal Justice/Public Policy. Following his call to the bar in June 2022, Aidan joined the firm as an Associate.
Aidan has always found meaning in helping others. In his first year of law school, he found himself drawn to the personal injury and wrongful death cases covered by his professors. This motivated Aidan to pursue a career as a personal injury lawyer, so that he could advocate for others when they need it most. During his time at Western Law, Aidan served on the executive committee of the school’s inaugural Personal Injury and Insurance Law Association, and volunteered with London Lawyers Feed the Hungry. He was also involved with Western Law’s peer mentorship and orientation program.
Aidan has argued for his clients at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Justice.
Outside of the office, Aidan enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and friends, cycling, hiking, camping, and playing hockey.
