Trial Begins In Class Action Lawsuit Against Life Insurance Companies

Trial is underway in a class action lawsuit brought against London Life and Great-West Life Insurance.  The lawsuit claims that the insurance companies illegally transferred $220 million out of the accounts of life insurance policy holders in 1997.  With interest and return on this investment, that amount could be worth as much as $1 billion now.
