Ontario Government to Introduce Changes to Auto Insurance

The Toronto Star is reporting that the Ontario government will introduce 40 changes to auto insurance legislation and regulations tomorrow.  One expected change is that the government will permit consumers to buy lower levels of coverage for medical and rehabilitation benefits.  Currently, consumers are eligible for up to $100,000 worth of medical and rehabilitation benefits in non-catastrophic cases.  It it is not yet known what alternatives will be available.  McLeish Orlando will follow this story closely and report back on this blog.
