Giving Back to Our Community
McLeish Orlando is proud to support a number of different associations within our community.
McLeish Orlando as a member of PIA Law is proud to announce their sponsorship of MADD Canada. PIA Law is the Title Sponsor of MADD Canada’s National Strides for Change run/walk and will also work closely with them to support their Victim Services program. United by a shared belief that there is no excuse for driving impaired, MADD Canada and the PIA are committed to ensuring that victims of impaired driving crashes and their families receive the best possible support during their time of grieving and recovery.
Since 2005, McLeish Orlando LLP has contributed over $15,000 to the Carole Harrison Trauma Fund at the Hospital for Sick Children. Named for a popular social worker who made a tremendous impact in the Trauma Unit, the Carole Harrison Fund has made annual grants since 2009 which help ease the burdens of patients and patient families in the trauma unit.

Additionally, in conjuction with Sunnybrooks Traumatic Brain Injury Clinicians we present a bi-annual conference on TBI and all registration proceeds are donated entirely to the Sunnybrook Traumatic Brain Injury Clinic.
McLeish Orlando’s staff are members and proudly support the various events such as Bike Month which happens each year in June. We also support cycling by presenting our annual Helmets on Kids.
Over the past five years more than 2,000 helmets have been donated by McLeish Orlando’s Helmets on Kids Campaign throughout the City of Toronto. The campaign in conjunction with the Toronto Kiwanis Boys & Girls Clubs is geared to bring safety awareness to young cyclists and their families and to urge all cyclists to wear helmets while they are cycling. In an effort to improve safety on our streets, McLeish Orlando donates 500 helmets annually to Toronto public school students.
Since 2013, McLeish Orlando has donated over 1000 turkeys to the Daily Bread Food Bank to help less fortunate families during the holiday season. McLeish Orlando thanks the Daily Bread Food Bank for helping with the distribution of the turkeys to different communities in Toronto. McLeish Orlando was the 2012 winner of the Holiday Law Firm Food Bank Challenge raising over $37,000 for the community.
